My life revolves around food, travel and photography and yes, I also love everything vintage.
Life in short
Coming from a small town, I was always allured by the fast life in ‘big’ cities. I dreamt of living in one until finally I got to work in Mumbai, city of dreams for many. After spending few crazy years in Mumbai, I got transferred to the dazzling city of Dubai. Cities like Mumbai and Dubai, have their own charm. So much to do, so little time kind of thing. They have something to offer to everyone whether you are looking for big money, big job, exciting social scene, great education for your kids etc. etc. However, it is also easy to get lost here. Everyone here is in a rush to create his or her own little space, a name of oneself, recognition, status, respect etc. No time to sit back and wonder whether this is the life they dream of or is it just getting too mechanical?
Did I get lost too? Unfortunately, I did. Working for almost 8 years in the corporate world knowing that it is not my passion is getting lost. I found my life back when I decided to do away with my monotonous routine and take a step towards following my passion.
My Interests
Life is full of beautiful things. What interests me is experiencing different cultures, cuisines, festivals, traditions etc. I love to travel to far-off and remote locations to soak in the culture and way of life so unique to each place. I love adventure and often find myself in difficult places like edge of a plane waiting to jump or peak of a mountain just to feel like being on top of the world!
My Passion
Exploring the world of food excites me. Different kinds of food styles, ingredients, cooking methods, taste is indeed fascinating. Food is what connects people from different parts of the world and more you share more enriching it gets. The best meal for me is around a big family table with lots of food to share with friends and family. Good food and the aesthetics around it is my passion which I want to share with my readers and learn from them in turn.∗
